I'm interested in pursing a public health degree, right now I'm about to graduate with a degree in Biology. Is there anything I should do to make my chances better in getting an MPH.

Mnay of the top universitites require at least TWO years '[public health experience'. This should be more specific to what you want to do as far as public health goes and it may help you decide what aspect of public health you are interested in.
