Hi all

I'm an OMFS resident in a scandinavian country at a great institution. It's a big institution, where residents do a lot of indepedent, supervised clinical work - Orthognathic, traume, recontructive. Productive research activity. Moreover, attendings are super chill, relaxed and supportive and culture is generally non-toxic. Work life balance is great as it is in many nordic countries

As part of my residency program, I'm mandated to take 3-6 months of international exchange at any department worldwide to promote knowledge sharing, share research programs and gain international network

Mainly been looking in Asia - HK, Taiwan, SG, Vietnam, Thailand - or Australia (but honestly open to any place). Have also had senior colleagues who went to the states with great succes. Would like to hear reddit opinions on how work-life balance and hospital culture is in their respective countries or whether I would be wasting my time. Would mainly hope to hold retractors, ask stupid questions and have a great time

Thanks in advance
