For Osteopathic schools, the CIB mentions special programs as well as the potential for international rotations at each school listed in it. Is there a similar resource for allopathic schools, or does one have to go to each school's website? Also, is it hard as a medical student to select an international rotation?

If you can find your way to each med school's fourth year electives, you'll find that some have international rotation options already set up. But even where you don't see that, often you can design your own international elective. There are special forms to fill out, a faculty advisor to select, a site coordinator who has to assess you when you're in place, and then you submit everything for pre-approval before proceding. Some med schools even have funds to help subsidize the experience.
