World Vets is a nonprofit organization that provides veterinary aid all over the world. We are based in washington state and run by volunteer veterinarians. We have volunteer opportunities for vet students to work on our projects. Its a great way to gain hands-on experience, plus its always an adventure. Projects range from remote spay/neuter clinics on tropical islands to treating horses in Honduras to scuba diving with whale sharks to collect research data. We work with all types of animals. Projects typically require a 7-10 days commitment. Training is provided if needed. If you have experience, even better! Work with veterinarians in a unique environment. We are always updating our site with new trips. We currently have an opening for a project in Panama and 1 spot left on a really awesome trip to Honduras.
