Might not be a bad idea but honestly from what I have heard, interventional cycle is very different. Not sure how important the PS is, people tend to get more invites from the region as they personally know the people who have written letters for you. In order to improve chances, I think it would be worthwhile to ask your mentors to reach out or email the programsGuys quick question! I need your help regarding personal statement. Would you assign different PS to places you interested in geographically adding a paragraph explaining that preference? Relocate second to family and practice in that state / area when done with training? Or is not a good idea and may sound not genuine (though it is in my case!)?
Yea I agree with you! I don’t know why they even still requesting personal statement at this level! This is the third rodeo 😅!Might not be a bad idea but honestly from what I have heard, interventional cycle is very different. I submitted yesterday, today in the AM it changed!Just submitted my app. My USMLE says "processing request." Any idea how long it takes before this is approved so programs can see my scores? Just wanted to be sure they'll have them by 12/01
I think it will be virtual from what I heard from several programs. Especially now with the new variant news I don’t think will be in person, unless some exceptions from programs here or there? Thanks! Are we thinking interviews are virtual, in person or a mix of both? Wasn't sure if anyone had any insight into this

I didn't look through other years, but it seems like last year applications opened 11/30 and the first interview rolled in two days later. Not sure if this was the norm pre-COVID tooIs it just me or are programs offering interviews a lot earlier this year?
I think that’s where the benefits of this thread comes in. Currently waiting on some programs that haven’t offered up interviews, so at least gonna wait to see what happens with thoseguys what you gonna do? Take the first offer? Or risk it waiting for a better / dream program?
