Interview attire for cold weather

Hello!

I was born and raised in Southern California, and I have absolutely NO idea how to dress for the cold/snowy weather. Especially for an interview? Blazer with coat over it? Heels? Am I crazy for wanting to wear a pencil skirt?

Any advice would be MUCH appreciated

I just wear normal interview clothes and heels and throw on a really thick pea coat on top. Usually I take it off and carry it around at the interview place though 🙂 Unless they take you on tour outdoors.
