Hi! I was wondering if this has happened to anyone... I am applying for fall 2013 and the only pre reqs I have left are Orgo 1 and 2. I am in Orgo 1 now. I was wondering if schools will interview you and possibly accept you before those courses are complete. I got an 85% on the chemistry part of the pcat with a 92% overall. I got A's in both gen chems. My science gpa is 3.9. Do you think I have a chance to be interviewed now or will schools want to wait to see how I do in Orgo? Thanks!

Possibly. Apply and see what happens!

If someone else had the same or slightly worse stats than you and had already finished all their pre-reqs, they would pick them over you. Otherwise, I could see you getting admitted to most schools.

You will definitely get an interview for sure. As long as they know the coursework is in progress or planned I don't see why they would hold off on giving you an interview if they really wanted to, in order to wait for your grades. Good Luck!

I've seen this question asked time and time again in my two years on SDN. While I have no experience with this myself, I feel fairly confident answering it.
As long as you have completed all necessary prerequisites before your intended matriculation date, it will not matter. However, some schools require that all prerequisites be completed before the summer preceding your matriculation date.
Premedical students are required to have a bachelors degree before entering medical school. Almost all of them apply and interview senior year, before their degree is completed.
