Just ot a call from Lynn of Loma Linda University. I have an interview on february second. Anybody have interview on that date with the same university? Anybody had interview yet? Any advice? She told me they are going to take the whole day!!! Are we going to take some tests and write some essays? This is my first time doing this!!! Please some advices!!!

I'm interviewing at LLU this Friday. Mine is scheduled 9:30-2:30, and I expect an interview, tour, Q&A session and time to write a short essay. There shouldn't be any tests to my knowledge. I would assume that your interview session would be similar to this, but students who have already interviewed would be a better source.

Yes I'm pretty sure but nobody is saying anything!!!. Was supposed to interview this coming friday but I have to fly from the east coast so they gave me 2 weeks. Please let me know how it goes so I can be aware of what is going on there!!!!

This is from the interview feedback section from someone who interviewed at LLU last year:

"We had an orientation first with a talk with the dean and a financial aid person. Then we watched a short video and ate lunch informally. I just chatted with the other students that were there for an interview while eating. Then we were given a tour by a second year student. Finally, we did our interviews. I was interviewed by 3 faculty members."

Someone said that last year they didn't have essays to write, but according to someone who interviewed a few weeks ago, there was an essay to write. The topic was along the lines of "define your future goals..."

My advice is to read the Interview feedback section on this website for the above mentioned school and dress professionally. Suit, tie, belt that matches shoes etc. Read over the school's website and watch the news for current "hot pharmacy news". You are there to sell yourself, so just settle your nerves and be confident that you know yourself, what you want to be and how you are going to get there. If they invited you for an interview then they were impressed by your application and your half way there! Be happy. Might also be good to have some questions prepared to ask them.

Yes just right after the eearly deadline. They will probably give you a call if your application impress them by the end of this month. They told me they will be calling from january to the end of march when i first called to check on the status of my application. So to be patient.
