So... I just spent the past five and a half hours on a plane trapped behind a sleeping man who had eaten something that reeeeeeeally didn't agree with him. Like, really.

OMG!!! This must have been the EXACT SAME MAN that was on my flight going to interview at Western!!!!!!!! Maybe it's a test that they put all the interviewees through. I must have failed miserably though because after enjoying pre-flight cocktails, there definitely was some cursing involved.

The engine on my rental? Promptly died. In the hotel parking lot.

I finally got it to start, but with the noises it's making, there is no way in hell I am going anywhere in that thing. FAIL.

I did call, but I don't want another car from this company... I think they may be kinda shifty.

Now that I know how cheaply one can score plane tickets and hotel reservations in certain parts of CA, I will be back. Even if I don't end up at Western. 😀

I agree with what someone else said - this whole thing sounds like a really amusing story for some future book. Whether that chapter ends with "And that's how I got into Western", or "And after all that, I got rejected and went somewhere else" or "And I got accepted, and went somewhere else anyway", it's still nearly perfect as a book chapter. 😀
