I agree, I wouldn't expect to hear anything else until 4/16, but if anyone does, also let us know!!

I'm literally taking a trip to Japan around that time and I feel like it's gonna be so hard to enjoy with all of this on my mind 😕

Yeeeesssss. That's a leopard. She was showing signs of reproductive distress. As you probably know they can't be examined till asleep and you have to be ready for everything. We induced anesthesia and took radiogrpahs. She needed an OVH. When we went in it was diseased and looked like chronic endometriosis. But her OVH was a success and she is a comfy happy female now in her enclosure. 🥰🐆

Does anyone know the actual deadline to submit the BOT scholarship? The original date was 4/2 but now my portal says 4/9.. and the website says 4/7 lolol

It would be so hopeful to know how many are actually on the waitlist for Western and what the spot numbers are. How many did it move last year? Do they publish that anywhere?

The flyer says 9am-2pm but when you rsvp it sends an email saying “We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, April 5 at 10:00 AM for the College of Veterinary Medicine Open House - Information Session event” so I am unsure but aiming to be there by 9/9:30am. Excited, it’s my first time seeing the campus!

anybody else get an email from western asking if we were still interested? I'm an IS alternate
 
so odd that some people are on wait list being asked if still interested, while others had interviews but no communication since interviews and even others who have had no response at all.......seems they are holding off on those interviewed but no response yet to see what their first batch of accepted & WL yields but that is 10000% conjecture, not fact based.......frustrating for sure
 
It could be that they’re concerned the first batch of offers may have a lot of people declining due to their Navle probation status. They’re probably waiting to see how many accept them. When I went to their open house I asked them about their probation status. I was pretty much told that it was because the students were not preparing themselves adequately and that’s why they failed and that’s why they are now on probation. It was said that this is a problem based learning , self-taught school with guidance. A professor told me that there’s only 120 seats offered and a very small waitlist. One year they offered too many people a seat and too many people accepted so they had to defer some to the following year. They don’t plan on making the same mistake again.

Hi guys! Anyone know of any discords, Facebook groups, etc. for accepted students? I’m having a difficult time connecting with others to look for housing. If any accepted students are also looking for housing I’d love to see if we’d be compatible as roommates and look for a place together as well! I’m ideally looking to be off campus but less than a 20 minute drive away, with either 1-2 other roommates in a pet-friendly place (I have a cat). Thanks 😊

Gosh I am getting so anxious the closer we get to the 16th. My spouse and I have to sell our home and do sooo much before we can move and the timeline is getting shorter and shorter if I get off the waitlist. Obviously, GREAT problem if it happens but it is very stressful.
 
I wonder if they’ll send out a whole batch of invites after decision day or roll them out slowly like other schools

Is someone able to check the email list to see how many people are affiliated with class of 2029? I remember seeing someone able to do that in a previous thread
