Hi all - applying to programs this cycle. Hoping to hear from those of you that have interviewed with OT programs before or those that are in school right now - what are the interviews like? What kind of questions did you get? Anything specific to prepare for? What did you wear? Any information - I am super curious about other experiences that people have had!

Don't stress out about interviews. Be genuine and fully answer their questions. Think about why you are choosing OT, why you are choosing a particular program, what you hope to bring to OT. Also think about any talents or experiences that may make you stand out if they ask you to tell them a little bit about yourself.
Interviews vary between schools. Some are one on one with a faculty member, others do a group / round robin type interview and I had one that did a speed dating type set up so you got to talk to all of the faculty members for a few minutes. So it really depends on the school as exactly what you should prepare for.
As far as clothing: dress slacks, a nice shirt, jacket and shoes.
Any more questions feel free to ask. Best of luck!!!
