hello everyone...i have a general question about when inerviews are...do they occur before the new year? in february? march?...thanks a bunch...

Depends on the school.

Some start interviewing as early as August, others run into March-April, although by that time that's most likely for a waitlist spot.

I would say the majority of interviews take place between November and February.

I also have a couple of questions.

How much time do they give you to schedule an interview? For instance, say Pritzker called me down in NC and wanted me to interview within a week. Would this ever happen - would I ever have to rush to schedule a flight within a few days?

Also... I thought I heard that if you've applied to several schools in the same area (and the location is far away), and you get an interview at one of the schools, you can call up the other schools you've applied to in that area and ask if they can review your application sooner because you'll be interviewing in the same city soon. I've heard some schools will make a decision about an interview so that you won't have to fly to Manhattan, say, 6 separate times.

Most schools will give you a couple of dates to choose from i order to accomodate an applicant's schedule. Also some schools will be willing to schedule interviews for you to accomodate other interviews in the same area, thus allowing you to save both time and money!!!! All of this depends on the particular school so it's best to ask someone in the admissions office about their policies regarding applicants and scheduling interviews. Good luck and stay positive. Everything will work out for the best!!!!
