Interview Trail Rumor about Utah Program

Hi SDNers -

It has come to my attention that there is a rumor around the interview trail that we have filled all of our positions outside the match. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!! We are not offering ANY positions outside of the match, and we believe in the integrity of the match system.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you hear anything on the trail that sounds even remotely suspicious, we would be happy to confirm or deny it, and will not hold it against anyone for asking about it, no matter how outlandish it seems. I would much rather have the truth be out there for everyone to see, this whole process is stressful enough without having to worry about who is being honest.

Isn't it crazy how these rumors start on the interview trail? I heard a rumor we ask an EKG question at our interview. Crazy crazy!

Regarding the rumor about USF, I did talk to one guy who had just finished his interview at USF and he told me he was asked an EKG question AND a ton of hard-core ethical questions...wonder if he was making it up?

Does prematching still happen in EM. I was under the impression that it is exceediingly rare now because the laws reguarding this have changed. Am I mistaken?

Umm, they did ask me and quite a few others an EKG question. Something about ST elevation in V1-V4!

I told them I would just send the guy home with a script for TNKase or something like that.
