Hello,
I have a question about the interview.
Once the pharmacy school admission committe send you the interview invitation, does that mean you are at the same weight compare to the other candidates during the interview ? so if thats true, acceptance is the matter of how you present yourself during the interview right ?
thanks

I have wondered the same thing myself; I am under the impression that many schools weigh all components relatively equally, and therefore consider all of them as a whole once they are all recieved (after the interview scores are made) So, I think if you are really good on paper, you have less to prove in the interview so to speak, and that conversely, if you are weak on paper you have more to prove in the interview.

yes, that is what im thinking too.
however, in term of probability, i think that once you have the interview, ur chance to get in is still 50:50, isn't it ? It is all about how to increase your chance during the interview. But still, GPA and PCAT play some role after the interview.

This must depend on the school; at my school the chance of getting accepted after interview are much higher than 50/50. I think the numbers are something like 300 interviewed, 250 accepted.

UF. They have three satellite campuses plus main campus, so altogether their is like 255 students in my class I think. Might be more, I am not 100% not the actual number.

Like Owlegrad stated, that is school dependent. At UoP, where I just interviewed at, they said that they will typically send out 300 interview invitations out of the 2000+ applications and about 100 students will be accepted. So at this school, there is about a 1/3 chance of getting accepted after an interview.
