acceptance, waitlist, or rejection,

what do you think?

me too!!! when did you interview? i interviewed in mid March and still nothing... i went to the adm. office yesterday and they said that the committee has my file but they still have to vote on it.... AAAAAAAAAAAA!!! this is killing me! i went a week ago and they told me the same thing as yesterday. So let's have hope and think that at least we'll make it to the wait list.

ack! me too. I interviewed in late February. There was some hearsay on the waiting for UCLA thread that being left this long means that they're deciding whether or not to waitlist or accept you, but who knows if that's really true. I have this depressing feeling that next week we STILL won't have heard and they'll be like "oh yeah, you'll definitely hear something by the end of this week or next week. Repeat ad nauseaum."

Make sure that you call the school adcoms and make sure that you file wasn't just misplaced or something. It's getting late and schools really do lose track of applicants sometimes.

It means you actually applied to Boston University!

I interviewed in MID-OCTOBER and even withdrew two weeks ago (having heard nothing) and they still haven't sent me any sort of confirmation.

Stupid BU. . . :)

Stupid BU. . . :) •••••speaking of BU, they sent me their "School of Medicine Bulletin" today. WTF? they reject me in march and then send me a catalog now? are they asking me to apply again next year or something? if they're going to ignore their applicants they should at least be consistent about it....

I know this is a UCLA thread (sort of) but I figured I'd share in the post-interview anxiety. I interviewed at UCSF on January 30th and still have not heard back!! I'd be surprised if they are waiting 15-16 weeks to reject me and I'm hoping that they are deciding whether to waitlist or reject me. I've been waiting so long for an answer that there are now days when I have forgotten that I've even applied! For those of you still waiting, I wish you all the best of luck. We shall find out soon enough.

souljah,
that sucks. i'm on the waitlist at ucsf and i reallllllyyyyyy want to go (i'd withdraw from ucla for it). it could be good news though--they may want to offer you admission but they don't have spots they can offer you so they're waiting. who knows in this whole process?

but good luck--just try to keep pretending you didn't apply there and time will past faster :D

I just called. File is still with the committee. Monotone guy said "a couple more weeks." Kill me.

i don't know if you guys read my other post on 'waiting for ucla", but i'll post it here as well. Basically an advisor told me that who ever interviewed me is probably not showing up at the meetings and that is why my file is taking so long to be reviewed. :(

Has anyone heard of UCLA giving out rejections within two weeks of an interview?

Nevermind, I just received my letter and i was wait-listed. (NOT AGAIN!) Oh well, at least i don't have to wait for May 15th.
