Just wondering how many interviews people with MCATs in the 28-32 range have so far. I see people with 35+ with 6 or more, but what about people with slightly lower scores?

31 MCAT, 7 interviews.

My MCAT is 32 and I have 3 interviews as of now. However, my list of schools applied to is much shorter than most I've seen around here and probably not as "well rounded" because I only applied to schools that I actually want to go to. With the exception of one, the remaining schools could be classified as "reach" schools.

32 with 3. They are all in-state schools though, but I don't mind 🙂

28 MCAT, 2 interviews. The school recognized as my state school (my state doesn't have a medical school) said they would interview me and other selected applicants from my state in February, so maybe I can count that as 3 to make me feel better.

30 with one (oos)

Two with a 27T (I know - not in the 28-32 range). Holding on for one more.

32 MCAT with 7 interviews (overall GPA 3.4x with BCPM 3.7x)

32 with 4. Not really looking for more right now.

32 MCAT with 7 interviews (overall GPA 3.4x with BCPM 3.7x)

Mongmong: When we're you complete? Which schools do you have invites at? Curious b/c our GPA's (both overall and bcpm) are the same. Thanks!

29 with one interview and a DO acceptance....I have only heard back from two other schools, one being a hold and one rejection. Hopefully I'll get a few more interviews in the coming months!

32M.

So far, 3 interviews, 0 rejections.

30 with 8.

Cyclingmo <==== **Can't find a smiley that is bowing down and praising**

And for me it's a 31 with ZERO! (Thought it would make some people feel better).

32S, 3 interviews

most applications complete mid-august

32 with 1.

I was feeling alright with myself until I opened this thread.

I'd drink away my tears but it's not even 2 PM.

29 MCAT with 4 interviews

applications complete july/august

31 MCAT, 1 MD interview so far (+5 DO interviews).

30Q
8 interviews (which I cannot believe!) 😍
1 rejection (GT)
I applied to 16 schools
nontrad

30 w/ 3.9 GPA...and only one interview so far. I was complete in late August at most schools (and a lot of the schools I've applied to have yet to send out invites Rush, Mizzou, etc.), so I'm hoping that I'll get a bunch before Halloween. Anyway, keepin my fingers crossed and hoping that this season will be kinder than the last.

30 with 1(that turned into an acceptance)

28Q with 1 interview so far, but I was complete mid-Sept.

27Q, 3 interviews 😳

Hi people, I am currently an MS1 at a very solidly-ranked allopathic school, and I got a 29 (10, 10, 9). I am a non-trad too. So keep your chin up!

The application process is a complete misery as all of us know only too well, but speaking as somebody who is deliriously happy to be on the other side now, what everybody tells you really is true--the most difficult part is getting in. Once you are in all you have to do is work your tail off, which we all know how to do really well at this point anyway.

Suerte to everybody! :luck:

I've got 1 with a 32 so far, but my GPA is modest and the fact that I'm an international applicant complicates things quite a bit, since many schools are off the list and I don't have a state school. So I'm fairly pleased. I'm hoping for another interview at Minnesota (they are supposed to notify by December 15th) as far as the US is concerned.

33 with 6 interviews (out of 6 applied)

33 is close enough to 32 that it's probably negligible.

32 with 1 (so far... I hope!!!)

27Q 3.7 gpa - 3 invites so far... Im really surprised but VERY happy!

33S...none!

I've only been complete at a handful of schools so far for a few weeks. I don't have to flip out yet, do I?

My gpa sucks though. bcpm 3.37 and overall 3.17.

Maybe I won't get in anywhere. That would suck.

I am jealous of all of you with interviews, I have a 33Q but didn't get the score till 9/12 and have a good BCPM, GPA. I haven't heard anything yet, but I know I probably still have to wait since most schools put me on hold until my new scores came in. Anyone have any clue when I should hear something? I am hoping I can hear something in the next two weeks.

Leave me some feedback on my MDAPPs if you like.

32 R with 2 interviews (1 instate) and 1 rejection (Wake)
I'm hoping for more though! I JUST became complete at most places, stupid LORs...grrrrrrr

You are really the male version of me! This is crazy. 😍 Well~except you have a fantastic MCAT score! Our age, non-trad status, undergrad GPA and post-bacc are really similar. You pretty much got all your state school interviews and I did so in my state schools. But doesn't seem like we have any other common schools we applied to. I PM'd you my MDapplicant ID so you can check my progress in details. Good luck!

29 MCAT with 4 interviews

applications complete july/august

Hey Fiji... are any of those schools from CA? What is your status with the CA schools?

none from CA. I haven't gotten secondaries from davis, irvine, or sd. got the rejection in the mail for sf yesterday. how about you?

28 with 0 MD, 2 holds, and 1 DO interview. Sucks. I see upstate gave an interview to the guy with the 27 so it must not have been my crappy mcat that put me on hold there.

Hey man, let's not say a 28 is crappy. I have the same score and got an interview at Upstate.

32 MCAT here with an interview at MUSC (and acceptance EDP)

I have a 32 and two interviews so far. One is in my home state and the other is Vanderbilt. I'm not feeling confident about the Vanderbilt one at all, though.
