Add to my list: Wash U, Uni of Arkansas, and Morristown Memorial (NJ).
I might need to cancel some already. So far I have ten including the courtesy interview at UCSF-Fresno. Is it too early to cancel????
😱

EMApplicant said:You are the EM-Pimp! 10 interviews! Congratz, that is awesome. 👍 So what do you have now and what are you thinking about canceling?
Today was a quiet day interview-wise. Wish I could stop checking my e-mail...![]()

UHSDOMBA said:I have no idea which ones I want to cancel. What criteria are you using EMapplicant? Feel bad cancelling them; spent so much money already throughout the whole process. I just have no idea where I want to be in the US. I am very adaptable. Yeah, I cannot stop checking my bloody email. People think I am turning OCD! Take care y'all.

I almost wish all interview invites came out at a set time...NinerNiner999 said:Think about it - after four years of college and four years of medical school, your fate rests in the hands of an administrative assistant who may have earned a GED. Aren't you glad you paid those MCAT fees, took those long, heart-stabbing exams, ponied the price for the USMLE, and sent your cash to ERAS 😀
Seriously - these things happen and they happen in the real world. I have always been a firm believer in calling programs you want to interview with. It worked well for me...
EMApplicant said:Hey everybody, I just got an interview invite from Christ in Chicago.
Kashmar said:I just heard from God in Cleveland.
I've been to Cleveland; it's a God-less city. 😉EM-DoctorJ said:I added Sinai Grace in Detroit to my ?eclectic eleven.?
(edit: Make that 10--please don't tell the programs I can't count. In my defense, eclectic eleven has a better sound to it.)
I incidentally have no problem with people with GEDs or any other potentially offensive letters.
As for canceling interviews, I have started thinking about that since I have some programs I?m really excited about and haven?t heard from a few more I had high Pre Test interest in, but I?m thinking I?m going to use above 12 as the number to start to prune back a little.
Continued good luck to all.
