Did anyone else get an email from UCSD around 10/25 stating:


And if you did, do you believe it implies that your application is incomplete? je ne comprende pas.

I think they were just giving a heads up that they are going to be inviting soon so make sure everything is in. My app was complete and I received this, I am assuming everyone got it.

got the same e-mail. i visited their site when i go this letter to make sure i had everything required and that there were no random requests (medicine LOR, etc.) it seems they just require 3 LORs and the basic ERAS docs (dean's letter, USMLE transcript)

On a different note... I also received my first "rejection".... I had scheduled an interview at Vandy but ended up cancelling it b/c of scheduling and geography.... and then they sent me a rejection letter!

Hey there, I am just outside of Boston in Medford, so I just wanted to extend the offer that if anyone is interviewing up here and needs a place to crash (not sure if the schools are all providing hotel rooms) we have an extra room and love visitors. GOOD Luck!

I agree nothing like some rejections just before interviews to knock down my confidence. It's funny -- I feel sad too!!!

I have two rejections this week -- the most the entire season. I should be happy -- but here I am sulking. gotta go get ready for my first "evening before thing"
