It was really informal. I wore a suit and heels and I met with the director of the clinical-health program in his office for about half an hour. He asked me why I was interested in health psychology, what I was doing now and about my general interests. It wasn't hard and there were no trick questions. Then he asked if I had any questions for him. I felt we had good rapport, and it was an easy flow of conversation. It wasn't part of an interview day. I just had my hour long appointment and that was it. He took me to the admissions office where they gave me some literature. Then a student came and took me to the student lounge and chatted with her and some of her friends for a while. Then I left. That was it.
I pretty much wrote them off once the DCT told me they weren't accredited and then especially once the student who spoke with me told me they don't offer any funding and you pay them ^$20K a year to be farmed out to other sites for practica. They are also really open to students there doing research with faculty at other schools. And they run on a departmental model, not a mentor model which seems sort of ridiculous to me. basically, you may end up paying $20K a year to go to a school where your faculty member isn't affiliated and you get your clinical exposure elsewhere. I was pretty put off by that.
But you should go and make your own opinions.
