I personally think this thing is going to flop, but that's just me.

Maybe it won't be a mass market thing, but that seems like it would be valuable where bulky and expensive equipment isn't useful and you don't need or want an extremely precise set-up. Such as for emergency medical services, search and rescue, etc. Plus, if they really wanted to do the marketing,there's always the boomer crowd that is becoming concerned with their health and monitoring it.

im really happy this thread is back up and running. its funny to see the 180 turn around from people who posted in jan/feb to now. i thought i was going to get one for xmas and got an ereader instead... but im glad i didnt because id much rather wait for a price drop or a new generation ipad to come out. yeah, multitasking is huge... lets hope apple (at the very least) took care of that first.
