Is a LOR for a course in Environmental Science science or non-science?

Hey everyone!

I have a strong relationship with my Env Science professor after taking his course, and he said he'd love to write me a LOR. Would the letter count as science or non-science? I understand hat Env Science isn't included in one's BCPM gpa, but does the same apply for LORs?
