Do dental schools consider an intro to astronomy class as part of your science GPA? I understand that it makes a hardly noticeable difference in the grand scheme of things, but I'm mostly asking out of curiosity?

Yes. If you check your AADSAS portal under the coursework section, they provide a list of what is and isn't a science class. Here it is: http://www.adea.org/uploadedFiles/G...l_ADEA_AADSAS/ADEA-AADSAS-Course-Subjects.pdf

You can see that the ADEA is a lot more liberal with what counts as a science course than its medical counterpart. Astronomy falls under "other science" which means that I will go into your science GPA but not your BCP GPA.
