Is it crazy to do interviews 3 days in a row??

Basically what the title says. I have 2 interview dates solidified which right now are back to back. Today i received another offer and one of the dates is the day after the other two. It isn’t the only option, but I was thinking it may be nice to knock them out early in the month. I also have my #1 choice (at least for now ) the following week. Just nervous about interview fatigue. Thoughts?

I assume you aren't traveling for them, because if that were the case I would absolutely not recommend.

But otherwise, it's all in what your preference is. Theoretically the advantage of spacing them out is you have more time to reflect and regroup to prepare for the next one. I know for me I tweaked my presentation more between interviews. and doing things like writing thank you notes takes time.
For me personally, I really needed time after interviews to just chill for a little bit...the days are long and exhausting and usually gave me a migraine.

No all 3 are within an hr from each other. While I originally wanted space in between mine as well, a majority of my programs had given the same dates (early to mid Feb with only a few scattered days towards the end.)

Ulitmately I decided to do them all in a short time frame with the hopes that once I am done, I am done and can breathe. I also have rotation in Feb because my school doesn’t allow this month off ( why???) So I’m hoping it also makes it easier for me to make up the hours and complete all my projects.

I just hope I didn’t screw myself w this idea! Of note, only 1 of my 5 programs has said anything about a presentation. I am still waiting for itineraries from 3 though. The other is a case they give you.

If you are mentally strong, you will excel under pressure and perform better than usual when you have three interviews in row. This will keep you on the edge and you will ace the second and third interviews.

On the other hand if you have not properly prepared and lack of confidence, you will crush and burn easily. You will not recover from the imperfections on the first day, and mistake will haunt you and make you second guess yourself.

Three full day interview will take a lot out of you physically as well.

I did 20 interviews at Mid-Year in 3 day span. It is doable, just be prepared.

Make sure you know your CV inside out. Know each sentences you have in your resume. Know the residency site. Have a story for each of the top 100 interview questions. Not just answers, but a one minute story for each question asked. A joke here and there will really improve your chance.

Remember they are looking for someone they have to spend a year with, someone who can get along with the team and someone who can contribute.

Good luck.
