Are schools still sending out pre-dec interviews? Specifically Maryland and Buffalo.

I don’t know about those schools, but some are done (even for post-December interviews).

But some other schools are still sending out pre-December interviews. It’s getting down to not much time left for those though.

Nobody knows the answer to that question when you really think about it. We’re all pre dental students at best, so nobody here really knows what they’re talking about. However, it does seem like a lot of schools are done giving out pre december interviews.

I know Midwesterns still giving out pre december interviews pretty sure not every schools done yet. But I know quite a few people who only had interviews after December and got accepted so I wouldn't stress about it.

Look on the interview thread to see what the latest interview date offered was. Keep in mind it is safe to assume that no interviews will take place on Thanksgiving weekend. Interviews that take place the week after Thanksgiving is going to be a bit iffy, since you don't know if those people will be considered for pre or post December. Last cycle's threads can also tell you historically about when were schools done sending pre December invites. For me, it appears that all of the schools which I applied to are already done (Buffalo included).

I got an interview invite from Maryland on 9/19 and the earliest interview date was 11/20

I got an invite today from Upenn and was able to schedule for mid-November, so not all hope is lost!

The other RDA I work with just got an interview at UT San Antonio for two weeks from now. Dallas is scheduling them for about a month out right now according to her as well.

UCSF is done. Michigan is done if you don’t get a November 9th interview

They are doing the 16th as well I think. I got an invite today from them and they have the 9th and 16th still available. After that, no more interviews until January 18th
