Is it too late to submit a primary for MD schools?

Just don't!!

I've posted this before but I was in your place last year (actually I was later but same general idea), decided to submit anyways thinking "people are being too negative, I'll be fine, blah blah", got 1 MD II - rejected. This year I'm reapplying and was complete in July at all my schools, and am having a ridiculously better cycle already - and I hadn't even submitted my application yet at this time last year.

I was thinking after last cycle that I would have to reconsider medicine, but the lateness seriously killed me. I mean this in the nicest way because I was in the same position but don't think that you are somehow that exception that will be fine tossing a late app into the ring!

I did have a friend who was 31 MCAT. 4.0 GPA Spanish Speaking and URM with 4 years of research and several national leadership positions apply late September and get 3 or 4 MD/PhD acceptances. But he was a special breed.

The only people that should apply this late are well-qualified URMs and those with 39MCAT/3.9GPA who were off on Peace Corps missions that delayed their applications through no fault of their own. It's a risk.

It's too late if you still need to be verified. If you're already verified and adding another school, it's late but possible
