Medical Is it worth sending an update letter early in the cycle about abstracts accepted for publication?

I just received news that two abstracts I submitted were accepted. Is it worth it to send an update this early in the cycle? I listed them as "submitted" in my primary.

I also want to add something to this. If you have no other research and this is your only research production then I would for sure update so that you do not have a hole in your app.
