General Accepted publication: when to update schools?

I am applying to med school- I submitted all my secondaries and was complete at all schools by the end of July.

I recently had a publication accepted (2nd author). When is the best time to send an update?

Also, many schools I applied to allow you to upload supplementary documents in the secondary portal while others prefer email. Would it be okay to just upload a PDF of the paper on its own? Or should I also add a ~1 page update letter along with it? Thanks!

A weblink or DOI will suffice. I would wait until I interviewed to see if they wanted it.

No unless you are applying for a graduate PhD or Masters program.

I agree, a single pub won’t raise you from non interview to interview.
