I will not be ready to take DAT until mid-July and I need at least two weeks to apply. I am wondering if it's too late to apply in late July.

Because most if not all dental schools use a rolling admissions process, July is not the most ideal. However, waiting the extra time and scoring well on your DAT will have a much bigger impact on your chances on acceptance vs applying earlier.

Good luck!

People make it such a big deal to be the very first application the adcom sees. It doesn't matter. Just make sure everything is submitted by August. I still suggest you get your application submitted with GPA, LORs and all in June so all the schools need is your DAT. You can even email your unofficial score report to some schools so you don't need to wait for AADSAS.

Yes. Everyone on here is so obsessed with applying early. Get good stats and you are fine until the middle/end of August. Definitely try to get everything in by then. Late July is more than fine.

I have everything ready for AADSAS, LOR's are in interfolio. transcripts are already there since I am a reapplicant but my new DAT scores will not be there until late June, so should I wait to submit my app until AADSAS has my scores???

-If I send LORs and AASDAS application the first week and then take the DAT the first week of July is that considered early or more of the middle of the pack?

-Do you happen to know any schools that allow you to send unofficial score reports to them. I believe ADEA guidebook doesnt mention that in there?

btw your DAT Question of the Day is awesome, seeing it on my email kinda forces me to read it haha.
