Is Med School like Grey's Anatomy?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I don't know about med school being like Grey's Anatomy... but some part of me really hopes that practicing medicine in a hospital environment is a lot like what they show on "Scrubs."

hahaha!!! yes! i love scrubs!!! ....i don't watch grey's anatomy nor house for that matter (save one episode)....but scrubs i try to watch whenever i can because it is such a hilarious perspective on the medical profession, hehe ^_^

I was recently accepted to medical school and my girlfriend is already beginning to get worried. She is a huge Grey's Anatomy fan and is worried that everyone in med school is always sleeping together like in the show. How close to real life is that show?

tell your girlfriend to stop watching such a crappy show and get back in the kitchen and make you some dinner.

As a follow up question:

How easy at medical schools with a university to bag undergrads as a med student?

If you don't have game and a good rap, you won't do any better than you did in undergrad. The people who bag lots of undergrads as med students tended to already be able to do so when they were still in undergrad. So I wouldn't expect life to suddenly become amazing once you get into med school. Only real difference is in med school you won't have nearly the time to work at it. Sorry.
