My mum had root canal issue, and got it fixed from Dr. Ratna Indah around 2 years back. She is very much fine and has no issue. From last 2 days, my tooth is paining severely, and I am afraid of Root canal. Although, dr. Indah made the process painless for my mum, but I am just scared of any surgery/treatment. Can you suggest what should I do, any other way to fix it up or should go to the dentist?

No, but I can suggest you ask on the Dental subforum (this is predental), dentaltown.com or reddit.com/r/dentistry.

Your tooth might hurt, but that doesn't mean you need a root canal. It's pretty unlikely at your age if you're in your 20s. I had to have one because my tooth got knocked loose to the point where it killed the root (?). It was pretty painless, like you said, so even if you need one, it's a no-brainer.

Is anyone else bugged by the picture cycle on that website's front page? It just cycles through the same picture rapidly. Makes me feel like I'm going to have a seizure lol :zombie:

Go to your general dentist first and figure out what the issue really is and them if you do need a root canal, make sure she places a crown on the tooth afterwards so that it lasts as long as possible.
