Is the nbde Kaplan Q Bank useful for part 1?

Hey guys,

I wanted to start preparing for part 1 and was wondering if the online kaplan Q bank is a good place to start, or if it's good to use regardless.

Has anyone who has taken the test used the Q bank? Was it helpful?

i also need help.someone pls help me with the kaplan courses doubt. i bought the kaplan review book and read most of the part . but didnt revise it well and so didnt remember most of the facts during exam. its vast...scored only 80. i expected more. but ..
now i wanted to know whether kaplan class room courses are better than the review book. will it help me if i take that 3 month or 6 month package.
is there any coaching classes for nbde. anyone aware of anything??

Kaplan class room courses are not at all useful as there are no lectures,all they do is give u the kaplan review book and u got to study on your own.They provide videos to watch which are a waste.Only positive thing is that u get an environment to study as there will be other medical students studying.If u can make up your mind to sit at home and concentrate,then dont waste money and time on kaplan classes.Rest is upto you to decide.

I have taken kaplan online Q bank, I think it creates exam enviorenment but I didnt find it that useful for the exam.......Only benefit is that you come to know the different type of qs in different subjects and by doing those qs you get direction what to read............

i would just say skip the kaplan Q bank.i found it to be of no use at all.
atleast "crack the NBDE" simulates the actual exam a little bit.

hi i was wondering weither u decided to do kaplan Q banks? and wheither u found them usefull?...i was thinking of taking but some say its not usefull and have questions much harder than the exam. would appreciate ur help

This comes down to the notion of, would you rather learn more than is required for the test by studying harder questions/material and in the end do better, or learn just the bare minimums and then 3 weeks after your test start a new thread called "jus gotz scor tday and gets 80. wat i did nows?" With that said I thought the Q bank was pretty helpful. I used it on the format that wasn't timed so I could answer a question and the immediately see the correct answer and the explaination right afterward. The explainations in my opinion were pretty decent and I do think it helped solidfy concepts for the real test. Take it for what it's worth.

Hi...If I just want past above 75 which one should I use as practice exam???
old exam? q bank or crack nbde????? I want to take in 3 weeks, and so freak out not passing this exam.....any advice? btw, is there any explaination inside the crack nbde I? Thanks!!!😍
