Some say that as long as you can smell patietns its considered clinical while others say interactign with patiestns is more important...

Well i just got a paying job as a family support worker where i interact with and help people with mental/and or phyical ailements/disablites with their daily activities... would this be "clincial exp"

if not do yout think this would be a valuable exp fro my app.?

thanks?

What you will be doing is interacting with people in their every day lives. We could be pendantic and say that people going about their daily lives are not patients but let's not go there.

You are going to have some experiences that will be transferrable to a medical career (learning to put people at ease, asking questions and developing an understanding about why some people can't or won't follow medical advice, seeing life with disabilities within the home environment which is something that docs don't always have an opportunity to see).

You should have some other experiences, formal or informal, paid or not, that give you some insights into the work of physicians and one or more of the environments inwhich they work (hospital/office/clinic etc).
