Class 1: PSYC 410, Sensory Processes and and Perception - "Physiological and psychological theories of perception. Emphasis on audition and vision."

Don't want there to be any debate about this course, as I am hoping to use the professor as a science LOR if it is indeed a BCPM course.

Would a class titled "A Journey through the solar system"- "Study of Earth's nearest astronomical neighbors, including the sun, planets, asteroids, and comets. Seasons, solar and lunar eclipses, motion of the planets in the night sky, recent planetary space probe discoveries, development of our modern understanding of the origin and evolution of our solar system and its place in the universe, discovery of extrasolar planets in distant solar systems. A minimum of mathematical analysis." be considered BCPM?

Course classification does not depend on department. If your sensory class was 50% < BPCM content, you can list it as BCPM. If AMCAS disagrees, they’ll change it, and there’s no consequence for them doing so.

I think you may be able to get away with listing it as BCPM. There are many people who were able to get Psych classes listed as BCPM.

OP was asking in the context of a LOR which is a slightly different animal and less easily changed.
