According to predents, last cycle 404 people received post Jan 1st interviews and 199 people were accepted to a school after Feb 1st.

So those of us who are sans interview need to spend less time worrying about where we went wrong and more time worrying about.... I don't know.... anything else!

That's the problem with such a long application process. We apply 15 months prior to matriculation so by the time three months have passed we feel like it is all over even though school doesn't start for another year! When do most schools have their final roster? April? May?

So, unless you have 3.7+ GPAs w/ 20+ DATs across the board, there's no need to stress! Schools have thousands of apps to go through.

I have some friends who got interviews and acceptaances way later in the cycle. They were sweating bullets, but the message here is that THEY GOT IN!

This is true. I don't know what % of my classmates were post Dec interviews but I know of many. Some are hella smart/qualified too. Don't start to worry unless its March and you don't have an interview. After class starts nobody cares who got accepted when. Its completely irrelavent 😉.

That's always a possibility, assuming your application doesn't have huge red flags on it. You might even get one tomorrow, next week, next month... etc. Who knows? 🙂 This is a personal opinion, but sometimes I think a POST-dec interview is better.

Im at Pacific... and it may not be 50% but honestly more and more people i talk to were post dec (which may be the case also because pacific doesnt start interviews until october and only interviews 1-2 times per week) but still, there is a large population of us post december students...

i personally think post dec is great because they can call you the week after your interview and accept you... which is AMAZING instead of the anticipation of dec first and the waiting by the phone and constantly checking your email game 🙂

Great post, goodluck SeattleRDH! Im right there with you waiting for that UW interview. Im sure they will at least interview us!
