I don't even remember my SAT or ACT scores. So, I didn't put anything. I think I wrote in the extra information optional section that I didn't recall what I got (I'm 32), but that I would of course get a hold of the information for them if they deemed it necessary. If I were you, and I had multiple sittings, I'd either use the most recent, or the best. *shrug*

Can you combine the scores? I wrote 2x, and I remember that my undergrad took the best section scores for a total combination score for admissions purposes.

I had no idea what my scores were, couldn't find them, and couldn't retrieve them from the college board since I certainly don't have my confirmation number from 1998, and I don't even remember what month I took them.

FYI: you can probably get them from your undergrad institution. I had to call a half-dozen different offices, but they gave me the scores they had on record, so that was good enough for me.

Yeah, mine are in the Student Information System, same area where the grades are.

I put that I had a cousin graduate from the school about 6 years ago... I'm convinced even this little extra bit of info got my an interview. Remember Jefferson gets a ton more applications than your average state school, so you need to try to stand out any way you can.

Unless your cousin is a bigwig at Jeff or contributes big bucks to the school, I doubt it. I know of people with closer familial connectons who did not get interviews.

I just put my best sitting, which is slightly lower than my best combined. I am pretty sure my undergrad combined them too, but I couldn't get hold of anyone in the admissions office to confirm what score they used. I wasn't 100 percent positive what my score was, so I figured I would put the lower score.

I recently signed up to take a class at community college. Anyways to prove my Texas residency, they wanted to see that I graduated from HS in TX. Low and behold on the HS transcript they had also listed my SAT score.

If you're really that interested, HS might still have scores on record. It cost me $1 and 5 min to get the transcript from the admin building.

that wasn't my point though... my point was that for the insane amount of applications that Jefferson gets, showing SOMETHING will help you stand out over the thousands with similar numbers. I also mentioned that Jefferson was the only school on the east coast that I applied to (which happened to be true)

basically, don't leave the section blank. adcoms are gonna speed read your application before they ever give attention to the small details.
