Does Johns Hopkins put everyone it interviews and doesn't accept right away onto an 'alternative list' or can you be accepted, placed on the alternative list or flat out rejected post interview? I was placed on the 'alternative list,' but I feel like everyone who wasn't accepted got the 'alternative list' letter. is that right? any insight would be appreciated.

Hopkins either accepts you or puts you on an alternate list. The alternate list is divided into a "higher" or "lower" list, and the higher list is the true wait list and the lower list is a rejection list. Your letter should say which you're on, if either. Hope that helps!

Has anyone actually gotten the lower list this year yet?
