I thought it would be fun to try and estimate what we got and then see what we really get. I'm going to be optimistic and start with a 30 even though that test was hard as hell.

Is anyone else kinda hoping they got less or the same as their diagnostic?
I got a 25 on mine, and I figure if I didn't break a 30, I would rather just get a 25 so I could ask Kaplan for my money back.
I'm not going to apply with less than a 30 anyway, so I figure why not?
Practice range 25-31.
Predicted score: 43.
Why??? Cuz those who trust in God will NOT be put to shame.
Please tell me this is a parody.
It is not. You'll see when the results come out tomorrow.

If God existed don't you think he would have better things to do than to adjust your MCAT score? Like help feed the starving children of the world? Egomaniacs like you given religion a bad name. You use it as a crutch because you can't handle things yourself and to absolve yourself of any personal responsibility for your actions. Let me guess- when you get a 25 you will say God is testing your will by giving you a low score.

Sorry to highjack the thread, but since the God thing is being beaten to death, I think you should all read this article:
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=9109844
It's titled "my personal leap of faith," and was written by a fusion plasma physicist from UCLA. It's extremely relevant to every science major whose upbringing conflicts with their education and have struggled with the existance of God (Btw it's only 500 words).

I don't understand it. He said he believes that God does not know the future. That means that he believes God exists. If he does that, then he should believe in the bible. And the bible talks a lot about how God tweaks the laws of nature. You can't believe one part and not every thing.
What do you know about religion? You talk about me giving it a bad name, where as in my religion, the bible says in Proverbs 3:5 that "trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding." I'm doing what the bible says, so tell how I'm giving my religion a bad name?
I love it when you people accuse Christians of being weak.
It literally makes me LMAO.
Because...your statement doesn't make any sense. How do you derive such a ridiculous assumption from simply hearing one say that he or she trusts in God?
How does not taking responsibility for one's actions have anything to do with being a Christian and having faith? Where do you get this crap from?
I love how you just called someone an egomaniac for no other reason than to attack someone who did nothing to provoke you...for the simple fact that he or she doesn't believe what you believe.
And you call him the egomaniac...
I would argue that YOU'RE the egomaniac as you obviously think that anyone who doesn't agree with you is somehow less of a human being or...LMAO...weaker.
LOL...
Was it necessary for you to personally attack that guy? I mean, you must have some serious issues if you can't even keep your mouth shut around those that differ from you with regards to beliefs.
And your bedside manner is really going to kick ass!!!!!
Good luck to you...
Edit: Yeah, one last thing:
How many people have you seen die? By die, I mean die...not the viewing at Uncle Walter's funeral...
Well, If you dont get that 43 (which you wont!!!) dont loose your faith; but learn from your lesson and try not to be so naïve. I dont see why god wouldnt be able to bump a score up a point or two (hope so in my case); but in the end hard work is what will actually get you there. Having faith is great, just dont delude yourself to the point that you start pissing off the people around you. Good luck with your score!!
My comment was only about him not all religious people.

While I have been tolerant of your views, your post just made me lose all respect for you as an intellectual. Your interpretation and adherence to the bible verbatim is disturbing, to say the least. The fact that you are unable to comprehend how an individual is able to believe in a higher power without believing in the whole package the bible brings with it speaks volumes of your mental capacity.
Without getting into too heated of a debate, I think most of us can agree that in this day in age the bible is, at most, a set of guidelines for a successful life. If you truely believe one cannot "mix and match" what lessons they draw from the bible, I can tell you right now without a shadow of a doubt that you are a hypocrite. Why? well here's a few examples:
-Don't wear clothes made of more than one fabric (Leviticus 19:19)
-Don't cut your hair nor shave. (Leviticus 19:27)
-If a man cheats on his wife, or vise versa, both the man and the woman must die. (Leviticus 20:10).
There are literally dozens of such examples.
I believe the author of the article has reached a sensible conclusion that explains both the existance of God as well as the existance of science. If only you had the ability to step back from religious fanaticism and think for a bit I'm sure you'd understand.
You're not going to get off that easy with me.
Please explain where you arrived at the conclusion that "he" is weak.
I would also like your answer to the question that I added as an edit.
Finally, please explain how you will react to patients who you consider to be religious "fanatics," when these patients are the ones that are dying on your watch. You gonna run your mouth to them too?
Not that I am condoning making fun of someone else's religion, but you really must be stupid to think that your're better than someone else to have seen death firsthand. I have been present at the deathbead of a close family member, and I am not a better person for it. I just do not see how that is relevant to this topic.
Actually, YOU must be stupid if you think that question was anything other than just a question.
You see, in times of death, some people are seriously, seriously religious. I am just curious as to how many times Jamilla has experienced these circumstances, and how he or she reacted to it.
I am very serious when I ask this, as death is something that physicians have to be able to handle.
So, when Mr. Smith is dying and his entire family is in there praying and singing, what is Jamilla going to do?
Start firing questions at them?
When Mrs. Smith tells Jamilla that "it's in God's hands," what is that intolerant fool going to do?
Tell her she's wrong?
Dude, read with your eyes and not your ass please...
this is getting out of hand. someone may as well close/delete this thread, as scores will be out tomorrow (hopefully)
