hi all,

just got my part 2 results, and i got a 74...cant believe this has happened, have been in total shock/depression for the past few days...have to wait 90 days now to take it, i thought this was the part no one failed!

please give any advice for me, anything to study etc? has anyone ever had their scores audited? know the results of having them audited...its one point, come on!

I'm so sorry to hear about your grade. I got a 74 on my part I boards, so I unfortunatley know the feeling... i was devastated. I had the ada audit my grade, but it did nothing. I honestly don't feel like they even check it. Unfortunatley, I think your score will stay as it is....But, as you mentioned, everyone says part II is so easy. Like you, I failed part II with a 72. I recently took it over and got a 77. It sucks, but you can through it if I can!

Most people pass Part 2, but there are many that pass with scores in the high 70s. Don't get too down about it. You'll have to retake it, of course, so study and put in the time and do better.

It can really become a problem when you have a residency that you are ready to go to, so I recommend taking Part 2 as early as your school allows, to give you time to retake prior to graduation.

I have being so depressed till this day I donot know what to do. Also i cannot study till I hear from them. I am also trying to find out , if anybody,s appeal has been granted. or do they make mistakes in the calculation. Also how do they come up with these scoressssssssss. somebody helppppppppppppppppppppppppppp.:

hi...i got my scores reauditted...but didn find that of any help....they said my scores were correct....will be giving it again.....good luck

I was just wondering what is your total score? I got 370 out of 500 and failed too.There was a guy who score 350 out of 500 and got 81.So maybe you guys could share your total score. tenks.

sorry toothdoc to hear. I know how devastatin that wud be to undergo something like that. But, don lose your heart. Those who passed with 75 and failed by 74, technically don make difference in the intelligence. To be frank, even my score in part2 is 75. So, "don give up", keep doin it, you'll ace it off this time. Good luck and forget the past!

I took my part 2 end of Dec. and also got a 74 %...I was also in shocked and was very depressed. Thought I did well, but not well enough. What is your take on auditing the score ? It's 1%. Please let me know if you're going through with it. Thanks !

So many below avearge people here. You failed because you are not smart enough. Suck it up and move on. You can always be a dental assistant.
