Edit your OP with mentioning your II, so that people know that it's not 100% over if they make that mistake. Also mention if you did anything (like email the school).

I wrote the wrong name of the school in my secondary. I emailed admissions and told them of my mistake. Luckily, they allowed me to resubmit my secondary with the correction. I was offered an interview and subsequently accepted.

When I first messed up (after hitting submit) and reading it afterward, I flipped out. I was debating back and forth whether to email them or not, or just hope it slips by, etc etc. I finally said F it and emailed them, and I'm glad I did.

Hopefully OP has just as much success

Searched the forums, I couldn't find this. I just reused an essay that had another school name in it, and sent it in. Lol. Amateur mistake I know, but do you guys think I'm done for at that school now?

Lol u know what? I once was sending a bunch of resume and cover letter to PIs. I accidentally wrote the wrong name. I thought it was over, deleted the email i sent (of course its sent it doesn't make a difference but i just didn't want to see that email anymore) and low and behold. I got a response for an interview. Out of the 7 interviews i got guess which one was the only one to offer me a salary? Yep, that one. 115 emails sent, 7 interviews, 1 mistake. I got the job from the mistake.
