Need Help With Secondary Timing

I heard from somewhere that spacing out when you submit your secondaries helps time submission to schools. For example, sending your primary to half of your schools after you submit it for verification, and then sending it to the other half/rest of them like half a month or a month later, so that this way when schools send you their secondaries, you can space it out and submit them within 2 weeks without having to rush submitting all of them at once.

Is this a thing, and does it make any meaningful difference for your cycle outcome?

How many total schools are we talking about? If the total number is average (20), I'm sure that your proposal sounds somewhat manageable. It also assumes you have pre-written secondaries.

About 30 schools. And yes, I am currently pre-writing secondaries. If I follow through with this method and add half of those schools to my AMCAS list (before primary app verification), but then I end up not applying this cycle, will I be considered a reapplicant for those schools if I apply next cycle?

Did you submit AMCAS, or not?
If you submit your AMCAS app with at least one school on it, you have applied.
Maybe you are waiting to see your MCAT score before deciding whether to apply this year?

You would be an AMCAS reapplicant and a reapplicant to the schools to which you sent money.

Did you submit AMCAS, or not?
If you submit your AMCAS app with at least one school on it, you have applied.

Yes, sorry for not clarifying. I'm waiting on my MCAT score, which should release around June 30th. After I receive my MCAT im going to see whether to send my primary to the rest of the schools or not (to avoid being labeled as a reapplicant for next cycle)
