I literally am just trying to get a 75 on this thing. So far I've gotten through the anatomical sciences section of the decks and did an ADA released practice exam, I think one from like 1980 or something (I just did the anatomical sciences part) anyways, I got a 64 on it. Is this a problem? I know the real test is scaled like crazy, I'm just wondering if I should spend more time on anatomical sciences or keep moving... I only have 2 weeks. (we are only given 3 weeks to study for this monster at my school)

Should I bother getting crack the NBDE? I have like barely any time but I should have a day or two before my exam in which Im done with the decks.

like i said, im not trying to get a 90 or even an 80. I want the very bare minimum.

judging by the way you type you like should definitely like postpone the exam a like a few weeks at least.

 You have got to be kidding me. Get over yourself, it's the internet, not a scientific article.

I don't know what dental school you go to but at mine we are given 19 days to study for this exam so postponing is not an option.

Also, It's not very professional to attack your colleagues.

I feel your pain. I had only 17 days to study for this test after my finals. It sucks studying for such a big test when you're already burned out from the fall semester. I took it today, and wish I had more time to study for it. If you're just trying to pass, I would focus on the micro/path/biochem stuff. The dental anatomy was pretty easy. The head and neck anatomy was also fairly easy. I didn't focus on the arms or larynx so I had a little trouble with some of those questions. If I could go back, I'd spend less time memorizing the cranial nerves and all the branches. They asked very general questions. The immunology portion was also fairly simple. They asked some specific question on fungi. Quite a few questions about C. albicans. There were quite a few TMJ questions so know that stuff (occlusion & anatomy). The testlets were hit or miss... on was really hard and one was very easy, the rest were avg as far as difficulty. As far as organs, mainly the liver and pancreas. They had a few question about the GI tract, but not too many. I thought I'd see more questions about Vitamins, but they only had a handful. Know the vasculature and respiratory stuff. I didn't have enough time to go over the details for respiration, so I kinda screwed myself on that. I also didn't have enough time to go over the embryology portion in depth so I found myself guessing on those questions. There were some biochem question that were specific and random. Just do your best to know as much as you can. Don't waste too much time memorizing the AAs and their properties.

hope that helps and good luck!
