do you know anybody who drop out dental/opt school and gain admission to med school? how would adcom look toward such applicant??

Not sure. I feel as if you may be able to play that to your advantage saying I thought optometery was for me blah blah but I then realized that medicine was where my heart was blah blah.

Well, I suppose if I only took an OMM course, and some college science courses, then yeah.

So no.

Im just curious OSUDOC, why exactly do you continue to criticize chiropractic by writing false statements such as this. By these comments you reflect negatively on yourself as well as your profession. What is your goal here. In addition to the curriculum posted below, chiropractors of course must take and pass national boards 1, 2, 3 and 4. Also, now NYCC has affiliations with Bethesda Naval hospital and allows their students to rotate through the hospital.

Sorry, I only see 1/2 of the pharmacology as in medical, and no clinical rotations in areas of critical care or surgical services. A quick look at the curriculum will show they aren't comparable.

No residencies or clinical rotations required either, other than those in chiropractic clinics. They may go into the hospital there, but I don't think they are seeing patients in the ICU or ER. Yeah right.

Additionally, not all DC schools require pharmacology. It isn't required for DC licensure.

I was not stating that chiropractors had the same curriculum as medical doctors, clearly they do not. I was addressing your ridicilous comment that you would be a chiropractor if you took an OMM class and some college science classes. As amazingly critical of the profession as you are, even you should concede this obvious point.
