Kaplan Online midterm

is it just me or is kaplan sciences hard as $hit...i mean its not that its hard its that they just seem to put soooo much emphasis on calculations for gchem and some stuff that i never came across, i believe they try to make it really challenging.

What do you guys think for those who have taken the online tests and the DAT...thanks

It's just annoying im not learning anything from their stuff, the bio section is easy and then they make the gchem section ridiculously a waste of time with all these stupid calculations that you HAVE to use a calculator for...and on top of that their explanations suck @ss

They say you can add 2-3 points on the real DAT as compared to the Kaplan bio tests but the PA is supposed to be too easy. I am having a hard time with the math word problems. Sometimes I feel like they just don't make sense. I hope the math is a little easier as compared to Kaplan math.

yeah i'm with you osimsDDS. some of the math word problems are we-irrreed. anyone know if the math on the midterm and final are comparable to the real thing? thanks.

hey, what about the test that kaplan gives you on their website.

it is named as kaplan course demo test.

have you guys try that?

I think it is hard as hell. esp. biology

I have been having the same problem with my kaplan stuff. I have not got above a 19 in GENCHEM and typically get a 16. I think there stuff is hard as hell too
