hello, i am new here.
i was thinking of going to a kaplan prep center.what do u think about this? is anybody here who went to it ? they do not offer classes, just the review book to take home , plus 14 hours of video to see there and a lot of tests for taking there, too.the good part is meeting face to face other people who also intend to take nbde .
the bad part is the fee 🙂
can u please give an advice? shoul i, or should i not?

Dont join kaplan couse.
Its waste of money.

do not join kaplan , I did.
I did join kaplan in order to get ready for part 1 but I didn't know nobody , I didn't know about this forum . Take advantage of this forum and try to get material for part 1 twenty times cheapier than kaplan. I spent the first 3 months at kaplan with videos and videos and videos and then kaplan exams.
Bottom line , waste of time and money , those dental and medical videos do not really focus on the exam. What you could perhaps do depending on budget is purchase the kaplan on-line q-bank or I was told that there are different people on this forum really don't know who, that sell dvd's with all the material that you need( sounds like cheap and effective, good option),
take a couple of months and just focus on the exam,

I am going to write the exam in september.
really to much frustrated coz I finished the kaplan book, did the decks and when tried the released papers I was just getting 60/100.
Its really frustrating.
Can anyone plz guide me how to study to get at least 80+ correct answers?

Solve on Q paper daily in detal i mean word by word with answer keys and everything. Try to know the basics well. Thats it.
Dont do KAPLAN as you can get that same book at e-bay for less even dental deck used one but who care you should be able to read that stuff isn't it.👍

Don’t waist your money with Kaplan. Use this form as your starting point.

people I know who did good (over 80) at NDBE1 studied only fron dental decks and the released exams (and those not very recent). I understand you can do ok with those materials.

anyhoo. although i think i need the "push" from having to go out and actually attend a class, since i clearly didn't do so well studying on my own, i'm gonna follow their advice. i'll just study harder this time around..
