no, they are not the same.
USMLE are much, much better, and more interesting. HTere are a lot of things that you'll never find in NBDE kaplan book, specially bio and immunology.They explain immunology in such a way that you will get it since the begining and that will help you to understand better patho
You can find the answer to so many questions fron asda exams. In my opinion , if you have time try to study usmle vidios with their respective books or notes . It helps you a lot.
