I signed up for webprep and have about 35 days to study. I will use it with Goljan audio, FA, Qbank, and Goljan notes for path. Does anyone have any suggestions for a study schedule. I searched for one on the site and couldn't find much that was Kaplan specific. Right now I plan on focusing on memorizing the notes (Kaplan and Goljan) and doing questions. I figure I'll use the audio in the evenings to kind of "relax". Other than that, I am pretty clueless. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey marcus, I am also looking for input on a webprep schedule. Right now, I plan to listen to 3-5 hours of audio per day, and then in the evenings and scattered days throughout, focus on FA and Qbank. I am also going to substitute Goljan for the webprep path guy, Barone.

how did you find Webprep. Was it worth the money spent?

Web prep gives you a good Concept summery...as it is the highlight of the Video lectures
The advantage of the Web prep is that it is realitvly brief comparing to the VIdeo Lecutres and give you online presentation.
however some important Chapters on the Webprep are missing, and the best would be to watch the VIDEO Lectures, espcially on Physi, Behav and Biochem these Are MUST!
if you really have a lack of time I suggest you to do Just FA and Qbank also
Goljan Audio lectures and his H/Y notes
feel free to contact me if you need any of this material...as I just finished my exam and I would be happy to sell it for a reasonable price.
Regardless, feel free to send me PM if you need any further advice

hey,

I am about to start studying for step 1 and bought the webprep. I am trying to create a schedule, but have no idea how to work webprep into it. does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for all the help.

how did the web prep end up working out for you? I am trying to decide if I am going to buy it in the next couple days so your feed back is Much apreciated!

webprep is like the videos without the video, and they're not the complete lectures just part of it,
and so, like the videos, most of the time they just follow the book, i didnt get any groundbreaking information out of them, and wasnt a big contributor to helping me understand the books. ...but it was nice to hear it in the beginning when i wasnt familiar with the subjects.

Are the webprep videos arranged by subject (i.e., Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, etc) or are they arranged by system (i.e., Cardiology, Gastroenterology, etc)?

I assume you need a high-speed broadband internet connection to view the videos. Do you ever notice any slowing down of the videos when playing them? And what about if you have to rewind the video a little bit, in case you missed something the lecturer says? Is it fast and easy to do, or do you have to wait forever for the video to reload?

they're AUDIO only,

and never had any problem with them
and you dont need a high speed internet.

if i remember right
they're by basic science
anato, phys, path, pharm etc, not systems.
