KCU- Joplin vs DMU

Howdy y'all, I managed to get accepted to both of these great schools and I am trying to decide between the two of them as I get closer to the due date for the chair reservations. I am still waiting on hearing back from 4 TMDSAS interviews but I want to have one of these schools in my back pocket.

DMU

Pros:
- Even though it's in Des Moines, it's preferable to living in Joplin Missouri.
- The New Campus seems quite delightful

Cons:
- Grading System (graded)
- Cost (More expensive by about 10k/year)
- Fourth-year rotations are abysmal from what I can tell

KCU-Joplin

Pros:
- Cheaper than DMU
- Rotations are likely much better than DMU
- H/P/F Grading System

Cons:
- Joplin, Missouri.
- It's in Joplin Missouri.


The Match lists between the two schools seem pretty comparable to me. I want to do pediatrics so I'm not particularly worried about that to be honest. Any insight is appreciated.

Hey, congrats on the As! I also have an acceptance to KCU-Joplin. I'm balancing it with a few schools myself. What's your biggest concern about Joplin? I'm not from the Midwest and my only knowledge of the town is from the tornado in 2011.

Des Moines is a great place to live. I'd go there in a heartbeat over Joplin. They are a more established institution with a good reputation among osteopathic schools.
