Yeah, I think at this point I am going to withdraw my application from 3 of my 4 remaining schools. Michigan, Colorado, and PEI would all cost me atleast $40k more than Ohio(Accepted) or Florida(yet to hear from).

Man - sometimes I just sit back and I'm SO GLAD that we're not all pre-meds. I've seen a lot of the whole 'I must interview and get accepted and hang on to each one for as long as possible' over on that forum.

Go pre-vets!

haha, i got that from a bumper sticker believe it or not! i haven't yet found them to buy, but they're plastered all over west philly.

Has anyone heard from Virginia-Maryland yet? I'm sure they're not sending anything out yet..but i need SOMETHING to distract me.

I've had 2 interviews so far: ISU and OSU, both of which said they'll be sending out acceptance/rejection letter in february, and UF doesnt send out interview invites until Feb...so I'm just hoping January goes by quickly

Halesvet--a group of us got rejected in early December (I think?) so if you haven't been rejected yet, I'd take that as a good sign. 👍 Good luck!

The Admission Committee has selected your application for further review.
There is the possibility that we will be providing our non-Missouri residents additional seats for the 2009 entering class. Student applications selected for further review will be evaluated and ranked, without interviews, for these additional seats.
Again, this review is being offered with the possibility of additional seats becoming open for the 2009 entering Class. Notification of placement on the alternate list will be released prior to April 15, 2009.

I got an interview from Mizzou and must wait to Feb. for a decision, but I did get into U. of Edinburgh so at least a great deal of pressure is off my shoulders. It was funny/sad when I got my package because my dad thought that the Scottish and Irish were more or less the same!!😱 I told him if he said that in Scotland or Ireland, he would be shot at the spot he stands! It is not like he is ignorant, but sometimes the thing comments that come out of his mouth can be very disturbing.
