Zenge was the first to commit with a serious vote and ime wolves like to not be the first to do pushes. There were some posts I read as townie but i have forgot them rip

Mighty because they have the best avi and is my sidekick/partner in solving this crime-filled hospital village whilst the faint music from a saxophone is heard from the rainy outdoors. They also wrote a townie post.

Genny because their reaction to JJJ sorta implying that they are new to the game felt very townie

Potential, because if they are a wolf, they decided to hail mary town read JJJ right out of the gate when people were doing a mundande paranoid-of-JJJ-dance. Only where this makes sense for Potential as wolf is if they are a wolf with JJJ. I dont see scum randomly going in and hard town reading a player like that. Potential also referred back to the game where JJJ won and no one listened to Potential. I caught a wolf recently by looking at how he wasn't paranoid at all over me despite me just recently wolf sweeping him when he had a scum read on me during the early days. The diff here is that he just went "boq is town 🙂 " no questions asked, whereas Potential here made a whole story about it, referred to the past heavily, and explained their read. So town or w/w with JJJ.

Moonster read is outdated because I misread them as someone else. Tho mild town points for mind melding with me on Genny.

Dr Wilgy, because he read my JJJ stuff as 100% serious, misunderstood a part (asking me where in JJJ's performance is he lining up misyeets, and when I doubled down on that by asking a rhetorical question, he kinda stopped the discussion. Felt like as scum he could waste my and everyone's time there by discussing with me) of the post too. I also find Dr Wilgy to be solvy. Which is not a great read in itself, but it as a great reason to keep Dr. Wilgy around for a while tbh

Like. Just to be clearer with the JJJ stuff. Dr Wilgy came in and defended poor JJJ from mean ol' Boq there. Told my theory is wrong on how you solve JJJ. I don't think a wolf does that towards a town (if JJJ is town), nor to a scum mate (if JJJ is scum). So it should make Wilgy town.

IDK, it’s a hot take that wasn’t really on thread to vote dubz, how are you reading pippy and do you have anything else for a wolf read on dubz other than her tricky comment on me?

Cause it’s nice when someone can actually pick up on village samac early and I feel like pushing back minimizes it

But I am a hard push and for people who know me and are wolfing it would be much easier to chuck me in the village pile than to Poe me

Her answer worried me but at the moment I'm not sure if I'm more worried about her or about samac because of it.

You since expanded on that reads list I didn’t like and your reasoning makes sense so I feel better but originally I felt like the Dina/pippy push was too easy and your reads list was just too easy

I fully admit my **** is shallow right now cause I’m not doing too hot on the wolf hunting train tbh. I’m not going to try to force reads from myself because when I do that it never goes well -> see my last reads list in stardew.

I have been burned many times voting and pushing for players that are in Pippy's position and posting similar things. There is a potential that they are town. I have also been burned many times NOT voting and pushing players that approach the thread like Pippy. I am like, at 60% wolf lean, 40% town lean.

Nope, nothing else on Dubz. Solvy posts usually clouds my mind and I dig to it saying "yeh this makes sense" without applying much critical thought. Is why I am asking so many questions. I think her response was ~fine, but I am still not sure. I am probably going to change my vote soon but keep the FoS.

What was easy with the list? Like, which of the town reads is easy? Is it because it lacked explanations or is there something else?

I was the first to point out Dina/Pippy stuff. If it was something easy, wouldn't more point it out? Wouldn't people investigate it? Pippy has been pushed, but very little have been in combination with Dina. My post was not a push either, more a comment and then I moved on. Maybe I am misunderstanding "easy". When you say "too easy", do you mean it was an easy post to make or was it an easy conclusion to make?

It is fine not being hot on the wolf hunting train. I find it hard too rn because this is my first game here, so I am observing whenever I have an "easy" 🙂p) gut town read. Snap reading people as town is very beneficial imo

Because I havent decided whether I will vote Pippy rn tbh. I wanted to catch-up first. Whoever votes whoever is irrelevant to me during D1s when I have no flips.


However, you observing this and having issues with it is rand>town, since it is something town usually reads as suspicious tbh
 
also the 40% town lean plays a part.

I want to explore this avenue first

In all seriousness I think they're pretty similar. I'm chatty and jokey and tend to be a prominent thread voice, though not necessarily an accurate one. I'm hard to push as any alignment. I haven't wolfed in a year so I'm starting to forget my own scum meta but I think I tend to be a bit more pushy when I'm wolfing because I'm trying to direct things. My village meta is a lot of stream of consciousness and a tendency towards snap reads based on vibes, which I have a hard time replicating authentically when I'm scum. I think the disparity between the two becomes more evident as the game progresses because it's harder to be sneaky about pushing my agenda, and to replicate the emotions I tend to have as a villager the closer we get to endgame.

I guess it may be stuff that was in my brain that may not have been on thread.

mighty - I was already town reading
zenge - people have him consensus town read
genny - pretty sure people had mentioned town reads on her
potentialshervet - had already commented on town
moonster - I had already commented on town


The dr wilgy - maybe felt like the only thing new to add to the thread imo

Also you were the first to bring up Dina/Pippy as W/W for that comment, but I know pippy and know Dina’s right and it felt like an easy opportunistic point where people who don’t know them could throw shade for easy sus.

I feel like asking for originality in reads is a sure way to create a chaotic town tbh, or a "first"-ness in saying a read.
All of those reads were a summary on the posts and thoughts I had made prior, fyi.

The good thing is that I am now confident that you are town tbh!

Surface level I would feel more comfy with PSV and concerned about samac, because if PSV is good at sensing village samac it would concern me that she hasn't yet this game. But then PSV hedging a bit on her ability to read samac in the first place made me uncomfy. I have a tendency to be uncomfy about PSV though so I'm noting it and letting it marinate.
 
Samac is town because the basis of her sus/dislike of my reads is the "I". As in, everything from her own worldview. It is selfishly townie tbh

Just a joke Boq. You had asked why you were included in PoE in spite of your wonderful reference.

In reality, you left the PoE when you became invested in the thread as there was several points of yours I liked.

As I said earlier, I don’t think everyone in my POE are mafia. It’s impossible for everyone in my POE to be mafia. At this stage of play this kind of thing (i.e., being willing/unwilling to vote with X) is putting the cart way before the horse.
 
I’m not sure Pippy has been approaching me in good faith. My words have been twisted and stretched to a degree that I don’t find reasonable. I would appreciate any personal from someone else that isn’t subject to the same bias (since it is about me).

I was the first vote on Nate thank you very much. I just wanted to see what happened if I moved but now the board is much more interesting.

It’s easier to just fake wolf reads when wolfing than to stumble around thread blindly. Stumbling around is no fun.

This kinda feels like a personal issue for you to address. Plenty of players have formed opinions on me as I've provided my thoughts to the thread.

Like, even if true, you could've gone through ISO's if you thought someone was lacking.
