My school doesn’t allow photos or videos either.
To me, it’s much more worth it to just spend the time you would spend on labeling and studying off of pics in the actual lab itself. Working with the cadavers really helps things stick in a way pictures can’t. Also, take advantage of any TA sessions, resources, etc. your school may have. For instance, we have certain times that TAs are hanging out in lab and you can have them answer questions, do a review of a certain topic, or even just have them quiz you.
EDIT: we’re not allowed to take personal photos/videos, but the school does provide videos of cadavers the professors have made where they go through the area we’re dissecting/how to dissect that area. So it is a nice resource to have if your school offers something similar!
